VANCOUVER CANUCKS VS LOS ANGELES KINGS ROUND 1

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

Sounds like you're projecting. Nancy, err I mean Ridley.

Kings haven't played well, no excuses. I hope the Kings win- I have then at 40:1 at BoDog, but I'm afraid Mr. Ayres and Vancouver may take my money

When have we not defended our country? Or when have we needed to? Nobody attacks us...ain't no planes flying into our buildings. Unlike the U.S., we are liked.
Or in the words of Brian Wilson, 'the bad guys know us and they leave us alone'. Can't put a price on peace like that, my misguided friend.

not sure of the logic on that one... meh

is your real name Anne Coulter?!?

Canada is not able to defend itself. It needs America. Really you don't get it. Wow.

Another liberty- freedom of speech- Canada has lost.

Can you muster any good arguments, that don't backfire in your face?

The moral of the story here ladies and gentlemen, is that American's penis is bigger than Canada's penis and their daddy would defeat our daddy in hand-to-hand combat.

We like to have a good conversation here, and as a Kings fan, you'll need to expect some trash talk. But if it gets out of hand, people will be warned, then booted.

Hey, "the Kings are Queens" in your signature? That's sort of homophobic, eh?

Oh geez...don't go there HG trust me... 8-)

So what are you recommending Farhan, that we should all bend over and give them an empty net?

Rinkrat, how you can say America has more freedom of speech than Canada with a straight face? ...or perhaps you were joking there. It went down the tube w/ your constitution while you guys slept through the Patriot Act coming in.
We've got so much freedom of speech here we allow our convicted serial killers to taunt their victims' families w/ email from the comfort of their own cel!

Its called the entry draft...why do your American players come up to Canada to play then if the US is so great? Oh ya there's also something called trades.

No.

All I am saying is that you shouldn't validate a simpleton's attempt at saying something logical by attempting to make counter logical arguments.

If someone with below average intellect comes up to you and repeatedly says, "The color of that Evergreen tree is orange", or "My dog just gave birth to a baby kitten" are you going to present counter-logical arguments explaining why he/she is wrong?.....or will you just smile, nod your head, and consider the person that you are dealing with?

Just my opinion.

I thought the moral of the story is that the Americans have not won a war in this century, or last century except when they were Johhny-come-late to the party. Oh, yeah, and Canada was there from day One in both cases. Hmmmmmm

this thread gave me a migrane today, i actually lived the definition of facepalming. baaaaaaaaaaaaack to the story at haaaaaaaaand, CBC's "analysts" are all calling it Canucks in 7, TSNs "analysts" are callling it anywhere from Canucks in 5 to Canucks in 7. Same with Sportsnet. a good sign to see that none think Luongos play as of late is concerning. I'm not fully convinced yet but we'll see how Thursday plays out.

p.s. kudos to LB for kickin ass and takin names!

Bob McKenzie picked LA to upset the Canucks.

Has Maggie the Monkey made her picks yet?
