I like this match up. Some pick LA as the dark horse with a complete team.
They will most definitely bring it and maybe that's what we need to get it going for the long stretch...the loss last week to them might sting sill and piss off the Canucks just enough to make those Queens pay!

From a Canucks point of view, this isn't my favourite match-up. LA to me is a very physical team, and win or lose, there will be some battered bodies afterwards, not to mention the already precarious physical state of our vulnerable defense. I would have much preferred Nashville. I think the Canucks can handle them easier. The travel-thing doesn't concern me in a first-round series.

Why do you feel they're not hungry? They're a very young squad, they're just finding their way. I'm just picturing a wrecking ball like Dustin Brown running at our Dmen and it's not a pretty picture. The Kings are a young, enthusiastic team full of energy. This will not be easy.

The Kings will be happy to be in the playoffs - the first time for most of the lineup. They've finally got to the point where they should have been 2 years ago. This isn't Chicago - they'll put up a fight, but we should have no problem with them in a 7 game series.

I like this matchup.

Frankly, the only way I can see to pick my team in this series is home ice. It's a good thing we're a great team at the garage, and Kel was posting some encouragin stats about Luongo in his barn, so I'm going to hope that it's enough.
