That is what you call the hands on your hips my friend. If it wasn't for the sports I'd say the tv providers would be sweating arseholes instead of exploiting oursReefer2 wrote:
Almost ready to drop cable all together except I want to watch sports.
Do you have gamecenter?Cornuck wrote:I've been trying to cancel Dish for a couple of years now. they keep giving me deals, so I stick it out a little longer.
Between Netflix, HBO Now and Amazon, I never watch regular TV. I think one movie last month?
So now I'm down to $8.46 a month, which covers their 'equipment rental'. Technically, they're paying me now to watch as their plan is $19.99 and they give me a $20 credit a month.
Still have local channels and can watch the odd Huskers game if I get bored.
Yes - that should start up again shortly. Just the one team package.Uncle dans leg wrote:Do you have gamecenter?Cornuck wrote:I've been trying to cancel Dish for a couple of years now. they keep giving me deals, so I stick it out a little longer.

OMG... now he's putting you to the test!!!Reefer2 wrote: Can I ask about the quality of the production? Which play by play team do they show.
Yes, the one team works well - I barely have time to catch Canuck games, so it save some money. You generally get a choice of home or away, and there are some blackout dates. In my case, Denver home games are a "local blackout" (7 hour drive) because the game is on the FOX sports for Denver.Reefer2 wrote:Can I ask about the quality of the production?
