TV Shows: What are you watching?

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

I thought the idea was interesting, but holy f**k what a stupid show.
The scientific basis is laughable.

They're running out of air, so they start ejecting people into space?
(Not only do you lose the airlock's oxygen, but a human body contains at least 50 kilos of oxygen)

Commander jumps in the space station's missile, crash lands on earth - and survives. :? I could go on.
The science in "100" is bogus, the plot is often goofy.
Science Friction! Yeah, nice to look at women, interesting premise but no substance :(
I love every move Jim Benning makes 8-)

I'm liking the HBO-Now that's been added to Apple TV. Finally starting to watch some shows that everyone else has been talking about for the last decade or so. ;)

Got through the end of SOA - holy crap, what a lame ending to that series... seriously, w.t.f?

Someone mentioned Veep earlier - didn't get into that at all, decent premise, but really just people insulting each other 1/2 an hour.

I like Louie a lot, so I tried "Lucky Louis" on HBO - I lasted about 5 minutes due to to the really annoying 'live audience'.

I've started True Detective and really liking Newsroom.

Between HBO-Now and Netflix, I think I could rid of Dish.

Season 2 of True Detective is pretty solid so far

Anyone using Kodi? Unreal how far technology has made it from downloading mp3s...

I'm having trouble getting my chromecast stick to work with it though. I can't seem to get it to where the bubbleupnp will see my kodi add on libraries...anyone know anything on this?

If it didn't feature two of my least favourite actors, I might watch it...

Finished Game of Thrones - now onto Deadwood...

I recently tried True Blood and really liked it to about the fourth season and kind of gave up on it. I've been recording season 2 of True Detective but haven't started it yet.

Has anyone watched Ballers? It's surprisingly pretty good. I'm still not sold on the Rock's acting ability but this is his best work IMO. Love Rob Cordry and there are a alot of NFL cameos. I'm actually surprised the NFL let the show have that much reign with the teams, names, etc. It probably isn't painting a great picture for the league. (Although they aren't exactly doing themselves any favors in real life)

As for Network TV ... I enjoyed American Odyssey, Secrets and Lies, and Battle Creek. Good time fillers. That's about all I am watching right now.
In Okinawa, all Miyagi know two things: hockey and karate.

LOL Ballers, so bad its a T&A guilty pleasure.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Bloodline on Netflix is worth a watch . Only one season so far with a 2nd airing next year but it has some nice twists . I am down to the last two episodes of the first season .

Just started this last night and watched the first two. They hook you pretty good with all the flashbacks and forwards. Gotta find out whats going on!

Too funny...after Sense8 (what did I just watch???? ) and I was looking for a darker drama.

Bloodline it is!

Homeland was good.

Rectify was ok.

Portlandia is ok for a laugh.

Speaking of a laugh that trailer for the hot wet summer netflix series looks worth a twirl.

Sense8 was great.

Deadwood is incredible - best tv dialog ever.
