Our galaxy has hundreds of billions more stars than the average?Chef Boi RD wrote: ↑Fri Jan 03, 2025 10:23 pm There are 200 billion to 2 trillion galaxies in the known universe. Dude using science/math...

According to our science, abiogenesis (life from nonlife without divine intervention) has no known mechanism.
(read: impossible)
Zero percent chance of it happening.
Zero times 200 billion trillion = Zero.
Don't force your Aliens Religion down our throats you wide-eyed fanatic!
But sure, it can be a fun subject, like telling bigfoot stories around the campfire.

Cousin Strawberry, you are going to love this one!The Seventh Experiment: The Truth of our Creation
In December 1999, Sweden's most notorious UFO skeptic sat down for an interview that would challenge everything he believed. Ole K. had spent his career exposing hoaxes and debunking paranormal claims.
The being who called herself Lacerta revealed an underground civilization that had existed alongside humanity for millions of years. She explained humanity's true origins as a series of genetic experiments and warned of the imminent return of our creators.
From the mysteries of Derinkuyu to the truth about the dinosaurs' extinction, this story connects ancient mysteries to modern questions about human consciousness and evolution.
Three... count 'em THREE... races of aliens PLUS homegrown Reptilians!
Oh baby.
A total bullshit story.
But if it DID happen, this Lacerta would have to have been a demon... a fallen angel.
Fallen angels have all the powers Lacerta is said to have had.
And they always mix truth with lies to create the desired effect.
Cuz, you met one once upon a time amirite?

Re: Conspiracy Theory
94% of the universe's galaxies are permanently unreachable: Even if we traveled at the speed of light, we'd never be able to reach these galaxies. The universe's expansion is causing galaxies outside the Local Group to move away from us, many now faster than the speed of light.
There are an estimated 200 billion to 2 trillion galaxies in the universe.
There are almost 4,000 solar systems in our galaxy - The Milky Way with an estimated 100 thousand million stars in the Milky Way.
Doc, do you think there is possibility of life in any of those galaxies that are unreachable by us? 94% of them are unreachable.

A theoretical velocity of warp 5 travels ~200 x the speed of light with incremental increases up to warp 9 which is ~1000 x the speed of light. After that it’s exponential and warp 9.9 is roughly 10000 x e.

Waaaait a cotton picking minute here...sn't there already strong evidence suggesting microbial life on Mars existed a billion years ago?Strangelove wrote: ↑Sat Jan 11, 2025 2:17 pmAs I explained above, there is zero chance of life in any of those galaxies.Chef Boi RD wrote: ↑Sat Jan 11, 2025 8:42 am Doc, do you think there is possibility of life in any of those galaxies that are unreachable by us? 94% of them are unreachable.

For several years, the general current of scientific opinion was running against the biological interpretation of the evidence from ALH84001. But recent studies of the magnetite grains provide increased support to a biological origin. Scientists continue to study ALH84001 and the other Martian meteorites. And they are planning a mission to bring samples back from Mars. While the evidence from ALH84001 remains controversial, it has without question stimulated a major new effort in the search for life, ancient or extant, on Mars.
Why yes Chef...there absolutely is strong evidence of such

If it's already an almost certainty on our closest neighbor, then it's almost a 100% guarantee it continues throughout the galaxies

Cuz
There are over 700 quintillion planets in the universe. The number of planets in the universe is extremely mind-boggling. The current consensus among astronomers is that there should be at least as many planets as there are stars.
Doc is suggesting that there is no life on any of those 700 quintillion planets.
