Welcome to the Refugees from "Central"

If it's in here, it's probably a good idea to read it.

That doesn't neccessarily means i'm putting my 2 cents everywhere in. Sometimes less is more, at least i'm trying to read everything on a daily basis. 8-)

Another late arrival from Central...SCF hangover is just wearing off now.

Did Hockey Widow make the jump over? Invaluable resource.

Thank you for the welcome Brian.

Glad to see some familiar names here. I rely on you guys/gals to inform and entertain. I was stunned by the CC's demise too but maybe we can make a better home here. Look forward to reading some good threads and maybe even adding one or two myself if I feel it hasn't been said already. Hope we see HW, Lever and Pot soon. :(

It took a long time to get over the SCFs but I'm ready to focus on this year now!!!

Look forward to the 2011/12 season and spending sometime with y'all.

Go Canucks Go!!!

couldn't have said it better! I just found this site yesterday and i was blown away - "So this is where they all went!"
It was hard to comprehend how Chris was impacted prior to shutting down CC... does anyone here know some of the behind the scenes stuff that impacted Chris? In any case, I sure wish him all the best and I would like to thank him for the years of operation behind running CC!

I wasn't a particularly prominent poster at CC, but i always enjoyed reading the comments and insights offered by my fellow posters... it's really gratifying to re-connect again. Thanks too to canucks corner for providing this thread and extending this kind of courtesy to us `refugees'.

Like others no doubt, it has taken awhile for the sting of last season's run to wear off, but here we are again, and like every year, the possibilities of the next season lie before us - go canucks go!

Hello everyone.

I was mostly a lurker over at CC (different name), but part of my daily routine was reading the forums there because of the insightful hockey discussions. Like some others I wasn't aware of this site and am not sure how I missed it since I am aware of some other Canucks sites, but I see most of the erudite posters from CC are here, and this site has a storied history as well, so I am looking forward to getting my Canucks fix here.

Regards

PS Is that Mariusz Czerkawski's sister posting here?

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Hey...
Was on CC since '04, but I guess no one remembers me because I didn't post too often (only 900 posts iirc) and never anything really controversial ;)

I guess my 'claims to fame' would have been that I sometimes posted Canadian soccer stuff in the OTF, and then argued about it with THINKER lol

Oh, I also came in 2nd in the CC hockey pool one year... YEAH BABY! :drink:
