Assisting Erik Karlsson on Sweden's fourth goal against the Czechs.

:look:
I think this could be the solution to the Canucks problems; adding Karlsson on the blue line.
Helps get the power play in order and get the Sedins to start producing again.
Gillis needs to get on the phone and get this done! :drink:
Can't see Edler...is he not dressed?

Lucas Cry-Czech
Edler has to sit the first two games because of the suspension.
In preliminary reports he seems to be pegged as seventh D-man but on the second PP formation.

Zetterberg is out for the remained of the Olympics, and probably longer, with a herniated disc. Things are not looking good for Team Sweden. Can Karlsson score a hat trick every game???

Nope. But at least he can throw a puck at the goalie to allow Alfredsson to score on the rebound.
Combined with Lundqvist in goal, that was enough to beat the Swiss and secure first place in the group.

Anyway, first Franzén, then Hank and now Zetterberg.
Seems we can't get any breaks. :hmmm:

Sweden's chances have definitely taken three massive hits, but with only one preliminary game left against Latvia, they should finish at the top of Group C and will have an easy (perhaps the easiest) road to the semifinals. At that point, who knows as anything can happen in a single game elimination format.

Canada vs Finland on Sunday is actually a pretty big game, as the loser will likely end up having to go through Russia or the USA in the quarterfinals (if I'm reading things correctly).

Kelser blocks a Russian shot. Leaves game. Looks like he took it in the hand.

Back on the ice now, but it'll be interesting to see if he can actually hold a stick (let alone shoot a puck).
