Sweden beat Finland 3-0.
Two power play goals where Henrik set up Loui Eriksson and then Hank scored an empty netter when Finland pulled their goalie.

And Switzerland is ahead 1-0 against the USA in the other semi final!

Really impressed by Gerber et al. The Swiss have beaten Sweden. They've beaten Canada. They beat the Czechs twice, and now they beat the US! They've won every single game so far.

Hopefully that changes tomorrow!

Sedins were awesome, and the main reason Sweden won. Before the Sedins arrived, We were beaten 3-2 by Switzerland and 3-0 by Canada. With the Sedins onboard we beat Canada 3-2 on penalties and Switzerland 5-1.

Henrik Sedin had two goals (including the GWG) and an assist tonight and totalled 9 points (4G 5A) in 4 games. Amazing.
His brother was decent as well, with 6 points (1G 5A). The twins had really good chemistry with Loui Eriksson, but I doubt he's available.

Yeah, like that's really what we want to hear as the playoffs continue on without the Canucks.

Misconstrued my meaning....maybe I should of said..."I kinda don't give a fuck". Per and the twins ...would rather Canada kicked their ass's but shy if that ....meh

Post game interviews; Staffan Kronwall praises the Sedins, then Daniel:

Not many experts had believed in the team before the tournament, and they did stumble in the early rounds. They lost to Switzerland, and they lost to Canada, and they squeaked by both the Czech Republic and Belarus, winning both games 2-1. In fact, Sweden scored only 17 goals in their seven preliminary round games, fewest of the four teams that advanced to the playoff stage.

But they did score four in their last preliminary round game, which was also the first with Daniel and Henrik Sedin on the team.

Sweden scored 14 goals - and one in the shootout in the game against Canada - in its four games with the Sedins. Henrik and Daniel were the architects for ten of them, including eight of the team’s ten goals in the three playoff games.
