Canada vs US thread

Post by Mozy »

I predict that its gonna be highscoring but its going to be close...i say Canadians by 1 goal (thats not based on cookies amazing predictions) i say 5-4 and that thornton has a big game as well as Jovo with a big game defensively, I also expect it to get very physical...just the way i like it

On what else your prediction is based ? :D

Too bad the german decisive game vs. Switzerland is at the same time and they're showing this affair live on TV.
At least i can see the highlights of Canada - USA after every period.

... don't forget Jovo's crappy defensive game. After some of the scrambles in front of Broduer, Jovo and Marty exchanged comments a couple times. I am not sure if they were talking about the play, but Jovo's expression was one of a person who 'just got told' by the goalie on what exactly he did wrong....

I couldn't help but notice, didn't TSN carry the game live in your area? Am I the only one who watched it?

I guess a little beer league hockey and TV doesn't keep a world class athlete in peak form!

At least Jovo got another assist on Thornton's powerplay goal so that he is contributing offensively...

I think Brodeur was absolutley amazing, but i must say the game was once again very sloppy and im very suprised when in the third period when the yanks had about 5 or 6 good scoring opportunities in a row they didnt capitalize...i was sitting there thinking ( about brodeur) rust? what rust? but a wins a win and you take them however ugly they are
