Used to just use Loops as a piss stop on the way to Shuswap, then my bro moved there. Now we visit!

Lots of hockey and ball tourneys up there when I was younger though.

So I take it that no one is paying any attention to the Women's World Championship taking place there.

There are some fantastic golf courses up there. Still an ugly sister to the South Okanagan but it's nicer than it was twenty years ago.

Women's hockey is about equal to Boys Midget B hockey

Per, there was a news article here at the start of the tournament noting there are no BC women on the Canadian team. That is part of it.

The other thing is, Spring has sprung. The weather is great. folks are doing things outside rather than sitting in a rink.

Yeah I'm no fan of Kelowna. I love Penticton to Peachland. I could easily see myself retiring there at some point.

Osoyoos to Oyama could disappear from the map and I wouldn't blink.

I like towns where things get made over towns that just sell shit.
