Gotta say that Eichel is managing the pressure if being the 'next one' much better than Connor, it's almost like he welcomes it, thrives on it. Connor looks really tight out there on the ice and in interviews. When Eichels on the ice he dictates the pace, slows it right down, where Connor pushes the play. Gotta say that Eichel, IMHO is the better player.

haha I get ya, Dude. Just keepin' ya honest bud. Should be a doozy and this Eichel/McDavid thing has all the makings of an Ovechkin-Crosby rivalry. It's too bad one of them is going to get stuck in Edmonchuck. It certainly seems that we're witnessing the development of two generational players.

Refs just couldn't keep letting them play, but considering what they let go that was a pretty soft call. Either way, Ritchie's an easy target, hasn't done fuck all but run around. Virtanen is looking like a much, much, much better pick.

I've been enjoying the hell out of these games. Today's has been great so far.

Virtanen takes no shit. What a beauty. That fat mess Ritchie just runs people, Virtanen isn't afraid to punch a mother-fucker in the face (or the back of the head, don't matter).

Demko has been fantastic. Only reason the USA is in this game, IMO.

WTF was Nurse thinking going after Eichel? McDavid knew exactly what he was doing going into buddy's knees trying to force the offside. Jake popped the douche in the back of the head to warn him ("don't fuck with our boy") and Nurse decides to go all gang-banger and tit-for-tat their star. Dumb dumb dumb. Lucky Canada killed that.
