Canada finally getting their act together!
Goals by Bieksa and Ward. 4-1 now!

Sweden's game? Not much to say.
The dog people are wrong.
The Danes aren't that great.
Easy 3-0 win.

Intterestingly the Danes have three Jensens on the roster.

Rahimi has played well, but a hit late in the first period against the Czechs caused a ruptured kidney and he has been sent home to Sweden for surgery.
Rumour is that several NHL agents have been talking to him (or his agent) lately.
Bit of a late bloomer, I guess. Do you think Vancouver is one of them?
They know him from before, and he'd definitely add some size and grit.

Latvia beat the Yanks 6-5! They are on fire this year! :-)

Russians look really good, and now it seems Malkin will join them as well.

Hey Per, I noticed you stopped giving smug updates on the Sedins' race to the scoring title. Strangely enough around December when they dropped out of the top 20?

Maybe next year they'll crack the top 100 again, wouldn't that be nice.

Unfortunately they're not playing in these championships, so this is slightly off topic. They've had an injury riddled year and want to focus on getting in shape for next season. And sure, I expect to see them crack the top twenty again, if they stay healthy.
