GDT - March 24 - Nucks at Colorado 5:00 SNET

Post by 2Fingers »

No idea what to expect from the team, they will be tired and it is the mile high city. Lets hope the new 2nd line keeps up what they were doing yesterday.

Both teams should be tired playing yesterday and then traveling to Denver.

Should be another FFW PVR game.....

It will be interesting to see if either or of Raymond, Hansen or Hank can tie Daniel for the lead in goal scoring!

Bad feeling about this game, Nucks always seem to have a letdown after a big game like yesterday's. A point or two here would make it an amazing road trip.

PP goal with Garrison manning the point. Interesting...

I wish Vigneault would grow a pair and bench the Sedins once in a while. Daniel should be kept on the bench for the next PP. he had to wide open shots and elected to pass. The second time he had all the time in the world and just looked at the net before making a pass across the slot that was easily picked off.

Then he decides not to shoot off the rush and tries to be fancy and go behind the net and make a setup play.....screws up, then screws up again at the point and the rush goes the other way on a 2-on-1 for the Avs. Goal. Tie game.

Split the twins up in the PP and I bet they start scoring when they can't pass to the other brother.

I gotta say, I'm getting a bit tired of John Garret.

Is the guy blind or just going completely senile?

Some of the stuff he calls is just retarded.

Kobasew gets up off the ice and grabs the blade of Sedin's stick and then holds it around his own face/neck. Garret says Sedin is lucky to have gotten away with a hook. Ok, fine, fast paced, looked like an irresponsible hook at full speed from the camera angle we saw. But then on the replay you see from a different angle that it was Kobasew trying a sell job. So while watching it in slow motion Garret continues to say that it was a missed call.....

This is just one of many.

Like a puck hitting a player in the knee and Garret calling it off the foot. Even on the replay. It's just retarded.

Garrett is what he is, a cheerleader who you don't expect too much out of. I figure he's harmless, even if he is a bit dumb.

Amazing how bad the PP looks without Kes, and I always figured the twins made it go.

Expect the game to be like they are playing against a crappy AHL team. :P

I think the Canucks are something like 12-0-0 against the Avs in the last couple of years?

OK everyone put their hands up thinking the Nucks would go on a 4 game win streak?

Goaltending doing the job and then the team feels comfortable and gets a win.

Ballard with an assist, almost as many points as Booth playing as a forward

Amazing what a winning streak can do eh?

Good solid effort from a team they should beat, even with a depleted line up.

I like Ballard on the third line. Wonder what we do when healthy.

Don't get too excited Edler will be back Tuesday!

We've been better defensively without him.

Sure lots of mistakes, but the recovery has been there.

They actually showed some good play tonite. Give them props because they deserve it. I like what they are doing and when we get healthy we could be good in the playoffs. Tanev is getting better all the time and Ballard is playing well. Good road game and nice win. Never should have been a 5 on 3!
