GDT: Mar 7 - Canucks in Ohio for BJ on SPAC - 4 PM
What's left to say about this storied rivalry? This game will feature 3 - 20 minute periods with the possibility of up to 5 extra minutes and then a PS contest. It will be contested on ice with a frozen rubber "puck" by players from each side using sticks that aren't made of wood. For an explanation of the rules, please go to NHL.com.
For those that care, Yaletown will have an IPA cask night tonight with all proceeds going to the pricks that own the bar. See you there.
Booth scores 2.

This rivalry will be made even more intense by the 12,000 people who will be in attendance.

Gotta give those 12k credit for showing up to Jackets games still. As a kid/teen, suffering through the garbage of the 80s was made possible by hopeful ignorance. If the Canucks were in year 10 of totally sucking, I don't think many of us would be posting here. I certainly wouldn't be handing over $150+ and $9 per beer 10-12x a year.herb wrote:This rivalry will be made even more intense by the 12,000 people who will be in attendance.
Columbus fans are better than us.

Starting at just $30 per person get one AEP Power Level (upper bowl) ticket,
$10 food/beverage voucher,
Blue Jackets hat and a Blue Jackets-Tim Hortons travel mug with voucher redeemable for a free coffee fill-up and TimBits at participating Tim Hortons locations. Save $28!

The first 13000 fans get a workout towel. I just emailed CBJ to request one of the 2000 they'll have leftover. Maybe I'll try working out.sagebrush wrote:Starting at just $30 per person get one AEP Power Level (upper bowl) ticket,

For $30 and free goodies, I'd be tempted go watch the visiting talent & heckle the local club.

Which team will show up? The one that thinks this is an easy game and has brain fart after brain fart or the team that comes out and plays dominate to win by 2 - 4 goals.

The order of the day seems to be..
Daniel Henrik Alex
Chris Mason Jannik
David Max Zack
Tom Jordan Dale
Alex Chris
Dan Jason
Andrew Cam
Cory
Would like to see a centre with better passing skills between David & Zack.
That 3rd D pair should be good for business at Vancouver bars.

Everybody wants to go see the Canucks now that it's so damn fashionable. It wasn't the same case 15 years ago.

Losing to Columbus is embarrassing, especially when we are generating as few chances as we have been.
But hey, stick to the gameplan that isn't working and we're gonna win a lot of games.

hmm with those odds and Kesler and Bieksa out .. was tempted to put a few bucks on Columbus..
But.. after a bad first period.. going to still call for a 3 - 1 Canucks win..
