AV to request Rome gets his 20 minutes tonight.
Jagr makes a rare appearance in Vancouver.
Benn hungover after a night in Vancouver.

Schneider is on a ridiculous tear against the Stars, he hasn't allowed a goal in 5 games or something slightly less spectacular than that.

Oh, and some guy named Kesler might/will be back either fully/partially healed and ready to make/not make a difference.

Last 10: Dallas 5-5-0; Vancouver 8-1-1

Season series: This is the first of three meetings; the teams play again next Thursday. The Canucks are 11-2-1 in their past 14 against the Stars, outscoring them 51-29.

Big story: Vancouver has won six in a row to climb the Western Conference standings. With Roberto Luongo and Cory Schneider (who likely will start this game) splitting time in net, the Canucks have allowed an NHL-low 25 goals (tied with the Boston Bruins).

"It seems everybody is stepping up left and right, and obviously we know we are getting tremendous goaltending every night and it's winning us a lot of games right now," forward Jannik Hansen said. "Points we are getting now are points we don't have to fight for toward the end of the regular season."

Dallas is coming off a demoralizing 7-4 loss to the Calgary Flames that ended a four-game winning streak which pushed them into the top eight in the West.

Hard and honest – that’s the ticket.
“You have to play a real honest game or (the Canucks) will hurt you. So, we’re going to play them hard and honest,” said Stars coach Glen Gulutzan. “There are no secrets with them. They’ve been doing their thing for lots of years, the coaching staff does a great job and they are a well-oiled machine. We have to play them hard and honest.”

What about Aquilini vs Aquilini. One gets to keep the wine so far.

What happens when the wife gets the team and it becomes like Major League?

Did the Indians win in that movie? If so, bring on the Mrs.

Kesler: "I flipped AV's coin and it said I'm playing..."

We just traded Malhotra for Kesler. Good move by GMMG!

Volpatti-Lapierre-Weise

Garrison-Bieksa

Just wait until we get our other sniper and key to the cog in Booth back.

I'd like to have had Malholtra play with Kesler for a few games, just to take pressure off his shoulder during face offs. But, overall, just glad he's coming back

Looks like I'm going to the game tonight, so....

It would be sweet to keep this streak going and maybe even get a goal from #17.

It will be interesting to see where RK's game is right off the hop. He is our purebred workhorse and we're going to be a way better team if he can get his game back up to the levels of 2011. I think he can get back there, he's only 28 and he works his ass off.
