The Bee Line? The 99?SKYO wrote:What to name this Raymond - Schroeder - Hansen line? full of speedsters, beauty passing by Ballard, Raymond for Hansen's goal.
Reliable. Prolific. Common.
Seriously, that express bus going up and down the Broadway corridor is fantastic and a TON OF PEOPLE use it happily (the U-Pass thing). Translink is a huge stinking mess, but the 99 (and the former 98, RIP) makes/made good swaths of Vancouver better places to lives, for the price. It's catching up, but it really invigorated a few neighbourhoods.
I'm leaning towards the Bee line - bees might have a sting, but it's a one-shot thing. Potential violence from that line, but nothing serious. Instead, they're busy, buzzing, and quick.

Someone needs to end Valk. His last hit on Henrick was damn near boarding.

Might lean towards Weber, but only if it's straight up, and they eat some of the salary.dhabums wrote:Weber or Ballard?

RuSH and B-line are pretty good.
Slight edge to RuSH line!
Can tell Hank wants to get those points to get this Canucks/Naslund/points story off of him haha.

Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

Skyo, go read the rules NOW!
BTW, NOT A FLAME ... JUST AN OBSERVATION ...

Aside: thought we might lose Bieksas for a few on that business behind Lou.

lol
Canucks taking their pedal off the metal in 3rd, begging for OT/Shootout. smh
Chippy game!
haha Koivu taking Burrows glove in their bench, then chucking it out on the ice after.

I imagine that someone, probably multiple people, have told Kassian to not fight unless absolutely necessary. Although I'd love to see Konopka finally go noseless, we need ZK in the game much more than they need that mutant freak. His nose could battle Malkins for ugliest in the show.
Boys are mailing in the 3rd. Will the dreaded 2-0 lead come back to get us again?

I hope that's the case. Plus he doesn't need to injure those soft scoring hands.Island Nucklehead wrote:I imagine that someone, probably multiple people, have told Kassian to not fight unless absolutely necessary.

Hideous game to watch for a lot of it. But a win is a win.
8 - 1 - 1 in their last ten games. 30 gf and 15 ga.....pretty impressive but keep in mind this is with 2/3 of their 2nd line missing, the twins playing pretty spotty and shitty special teams. Good to put up points and make hay during a soft part of the schedule.
Nice play by ZK on the opening goal...another solid game for him , and a good game for the speed line. Pretty much all the d-men looked ok. Higgins and Lappy were meh and so was the 4th line.
Roberto played well again.

We had our asses handed to us in the 3rd. Minny were killing us in all 3 zones and deserved a win IMHO. All the good things we had been doing defensively evaporated in that 3rd period and I hope they figure it out quick.
That was the ugliest Canuck win I've seen in a long time.

So we killed them in the 1st and 2nd (they didn't get a shot on goal in the 2nd period until almost 10 minutes in), then they pressured in the 3rd. 2/3 of the game was ours but they deserved the win?Uncle dans leg wrote:We had our asses handed to us in the 3rd. That math doesn't add up.
Agreed. It was an ugly win.....at least the final 20 minutes of it anyhow.

It was how we played. We couldn't complete a pass to save our lives, gave Minny countless golden looks at Luongo and basically looked like we did in game 1.Mëds wrote:So we killed them in the 1st and 2nd (they didn't get a shot on goal in the 2nd period until almost 10 minutes in), then they pressured in the 3rd. 2/3 of the game was ours but they deserved the win?Uncle dans leg wrote:We had our asses handed to us in the 3rd. We went into the 3rd up a goal and Minny were unlucky to not score at least 2 or 3 on us....not getting even one when you outplay a team that bad is pretty unlucky...if you ask me.
Bravo to RL on that one. He stood tall. Maybe this 2 goalie thing is a good call.
