So many people jumped all over the Flyers for making drastic changes to their team and dumping their big names. Look where it got them.....

Hands down, the biggest ineffective NO SHOW in this there playoffs against the Kings was Chris Higgins. The guy is useless.

It's OK to lose to this Kings team. Marc Crawford said it best when he said they underachieved all year and got it going in the playoffs.

The way the Canucks played against the Kings there is no way they would have made it past the Blues or Predators anyway.

Still more effective than Mason Raymond and he makes less money too.

The play before the end of the regular season was uninspired for good reasons. Like I said then they were taking a calculated risk hoping that they could draw on experience and turn their game into high gear when the games mattered again.

They played to stay healthy yet still managed to win the Penis Trophy.

They calculated wrong obviously.

The Canucks forgot how to play playoff hockey. They seemingly played not to get injured into the post-season as well. And got bounced immediately because of it.

The drive, desire and work ethic was not there from the whole team.

Who is to blame - the whole damn team as far as I'm concerned. This was an execution error and we can blame the GM, coach or the hotdog vendor but when it comes down to it the players didn't put forth the effort required.

Changes will be made but I think the most influential factor for the next season's success will be a long, focused off-season. This will be integral for guys like Kesler, Hamhuis, Raymond/Malhotra (if they're still here), Kassian, MAG and anyone else looking to crack the roster.
