This looks to me to be a beaten team with visions of golf clubs in their eyes.
Embarrassing effort level
Kessler has vanished.

We're done.
Canucks have absolutely no answer for LA's defensive zone coverage.
The Kings look exactly like Boston did in their own end.......and then some.
I hope to God I am wrong, but.........
My sincere apologies to those that are offended by my negativity.
Not my intent.
I love the Canucks but I'm calling a spade a spade.

Doubt he could've been more pathetic at that one.Blob Mckenzie wrote:Nice play Raymond.
What a loser.
The Kings, again, seem to be the hungrier team.

Well, at least the ice isn't awful. Not liking Booth on the Sedins' line, although Burrows with Kes hasn't been bad.
But yeah, AV's/Sedins' system has been (mostly) solved. Need to try some new ideas if there's any hope.
Otherwise, AV needs to go, if change-for-change's-sake if anything.
Hope LA goes to sleep like after a huge Turkey dinner (tryptophan has nothing to do with it) and Van can take advantage.

No urgency. Most disappointing.
There is still time, but it is sure hard to be hopeful.

Put Kesler with the twins for a few shifts.porp wrote:Well, at least the ice isn't awful. Not liking Booth on the Sedins' line, although Burrows with Kes hasn't been bad.

Haven't posted in quite a while but I think my fiancee is going to kill me if I keep bitching about the Nucks, so here I am.
I will admit it. For some reason, I thought the Nucks would show more heart than this. I knew the chances of winning this series were long gone but I thought they would come out guns blazing because there is nothing to lose. Instead, nothing. Its unfathomable that a team that looked so dominant last season could look so vulnerable now.
There could obviously be many reasons this debacle has occured but to me, it started around February when the Nucks started feeding us those BS "You can't win games 5-0 in the playoffs, you have to win 2-1, 1-0." comments. It seemed like such a sudden shift in philosophy. And the team has never looked right since. I think (and this is just a theory) the core players dont like it. I think they hated the change in philosophy and started tuning out the coach.
One would think that AV is history if we lose this game, and if the Nucks are interested in saving AV's job, they sure as hell don't look like it.
This sucks.

I always thought it was "da bums" as in "da Bears", or "da Bulls" ala old SNL, for those of you old enough to have enjoyed.Farhan Lalji wrote:On an unrelated note, I am a bit disappointed that the spelling/pronunciation of dhabums is d habums.
I agree, the Nucks fuckin' Suck so far tonight. But I'm a fan. I'm a believer. I don't think it will go down without a fight ... they've just been too tentative so far and now coming from behind they have no choice but to play without fear. TBH I don't know why Burrows isn't back on the top line. It's the time to count on what's worked not the time to some new untried combination. Kes on the top line would be a better bet.

If Raymond is still a Canuck after the summer, I will be very surprised. He is just plain fucking suck.
Re: GDT: Us @ LA: dhabums saves the season on CBC @ 7
I predict they come out really strong in the 2nd period...
Re: GDT: Us @ LA: dhabums saves the season on CBC @ 7
Not going to lie boys. It's not looking good.
No sustained pressure. Getting out hustled by their 4th line. Everyone looking outta sync.
And 21... I hope I never see MayRay in a Canuck uniform ever again.
