Seventeen seconds in and they call an interference penalty away from the play. I guess this is the refs "taking control of the game."

Alberts down at the goal line whacking at rebounds?

Weird.

Weise may be a shitty fighter but he's definitely got the cardio.

Nice lil fracas there. I like it.

Melee started by a Bruins goon going after a Canucks first liner.

I'm listening to Jack Edwards on the NESN feed.. painful.

Anyway we'll see who gets the extra penalty.

Well this sure started off with some intensity. Canucks were playing well but they don't need to get into this. They can't win the fisticuffs against the Bruins. It's exactly what the Bruins want.

Let's hope for a PP on this one because the Canucks just aren't as tough as the Bruins and they will pound the fuck out of us if we try to play like we're a tough team.

Bruins announcers saying the Canucks have a two minute five on three? If so, perfect. Where was this officiating in the finals.

Perfect! A functioning powerplay. Where was that in the finals.

Boston really fucked everyone by asking for such an early game.

Considering the magnitude of the game, it really is surprising how nobody from NHL management didn't push for Saturday night game.

(puts on the tin foil hat)

The infirmary!

Great game thus far, if this pace keeps up there's no way the Bruins can keep up.

The decision to start Schneider says nothing good about the Coach's trust in Luongo. And if the de-facto Number 1 guy is already mentally "fragile", surely this only aggravates that problem.

Wow, look away for a minute and Marshmont scores. Kid is dangerous.. Bieksa should've mugged him, I would've happily taken the penalty.

Campbell's not much of a fighter, but jeez Max Lapierre looks like he can't make a fist.

I'm waiting for my daughter to finish her dance class ... anybody know where I could watch the game online? (For free, of course. I've got dance classes to pay for.)
