SSB line dominating Franzen line...
Nice to see.
Hank throwing his body around and gets a nice scoring chance.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but was that Daniel Sedin throwing a hit in the offensive zone?
...must be wrong.

btw there was a typical Tantalum typo in my post....
Meant healthy Raymond = Healthy DOSE of great play
Hodgson having a nice game. Well really all canucks are. Howard has kept the Wings in the game...which quite frankly scares me.

Luo stays on his feet...
No belly flop.
Bodes well for the Nucks.

I <3 Hansen.
Re: GDT: Detroit @ Vancouver, 7:00 pm, TSN
Suddenly, things get interesting. I like mad Kesler.
Re: GDT: Detroit @ Vancouver, 7:00 pm, TSN
Kronwall leaves his feet to hit Kesler & Kesler gets a penalty.
Serves em right that we get a SHG.

I can't figure out what the officials were going for with this game --- at first it was clear they were going for the minimalist approach, and after letting a few interference and hooking infractions go, I was getting a feel for it...
Then they call Bieksa for a penalty they've let go all game. Who knows?
Then Kronwall leaves his feet for a clear charging call, that's not a penalty - but Kesler gets a penalty for lying on the ice and being cut...?
Then Zetterberg trips Hansen, the Canucks score, Howard goes apeshit - which is apparently OK by the refs.
OK, then.

It's nasty how Kronval skates backwards, then changes directions in order to take your head off.
Edit: Sulzer appears to be a very solid player.

This has got to be one of the best hockey games I've ever watched.
This is first round playoff hockey.

I thought Sulzer was progressing well his first 5 games with Ballard. Then back to the farm.
Last game, he had a couple brain farts, but so far so good again in this one.

Not that it really matters, but curious to see if the head was initial contact. Certainly jumped, but that isn't enough to warrant a suspension.Corb wrote:It's nasty how Kronval skates backwards, then changes directions in order to take your head off.
