GDT: Canucks host Minny - 7pm - Snet-P

This should be a good test against the #2 team in the West. Can we have 'important 4 point games' this early in the season?

As hot as we've been, we haven't been able to catch the Wild - are they for real?

Injuries for the Wild: Mikko Koivu (leg), Pierre-Marc Bouchard (upper body) and Casey Wellman (wrist) are day-to-day, while Devin Setoguchi (knee) and Guillaume Latendresse (concussion) are out.

Ballard out with spasams, Rome out with broken thumb. Sulzer and Alberts in.

Both Rome and Ballard are out, replaced by Sulzer and Alberts. I hope that means 30 minutes for HamJuice and 25 minutes for Owl & Eagle.

Man(s)cari is still in the lineup. 6'3", can't skate, barely pass or shoot, doesn't backcheck and still hasn't thrown a hit in his professional career. But AV doesn't like Oreo on the 4th line, so that's how the cookie crumbles.

Gut check time. Hope they can suck it up & avoid further injuries.

Salo looked tired the last game. Edler had the jitters, with some poor puck handling & some poor decisions.

Alberts seems confused early, about who he is playing for.

Minnesota has been good positionally.
Hard to get a clear odd man rush without giving a good one up.

Lets see what the PP can do.

Refs treating this like a playoff game. So inconsistent from game to game.
