The head was the principle point of contact, no question about it. But with Hodgson leaning into the middle of the ice I don't think that was a really dirty hit. Foglino maybe took advantage of a player in a vulnerable position, but it didn't look like an intentionally dirty hit.

Don't think we'll be seeing Hodgson for a while.

It wasn't that hard but wouldn't that be a suspendable hit? Obviously an intentional hit to the head. No need for it in the game.

Karlsson and Rundblad will probably be top defencemen in the league one day but today I'm glad they are not on my team. Haven't seen people turn over the puck that often in a long long time. Even Sopel in his early years looks steady in comparison.
