Booth also starting to do what he needs to do. Just go straight ahead. Once his hands come back a bit he'll start potting some.

Yeah I'm a little worried the 4th line is going to go turn into a big, fat, brown, turd again with Lappy moving up.

Better than the "I'll just shoot it right into the shin pads of the defender" kesler seems to love to do.

Was watching that while my wife was in the room - I cracked up.

Kesler looks very uncomfortable out there. He's definitely fighting it right now.

Hank missed that???

Horrible horrible decision for Booth to pass it back to Hodgson. That killed that entire PP shift.

Gotta be one of the best deals for performance vs. salary in the NHL... $750k.

He needs to stop scoring or we wont be able to afford him this summer :)

Agreed. That was a very disappointing choice with clear possession on the power play. Sheesh.

I really like to see games where Kevin Bieksa is actually engaged (like this game)

I think Kev takes way too many games off and its unfortunate when he does as its very very apparent.

After Grabner sifts the puck through Salo's legs, Daniel and Luongo watch the Islanders score.

Bah, the Canucks started to allow several odd man rushes against with some pretty loose, "Hey, we might score a ton of goals" type of play..

Canucks took a breather and have lost all momentum.

If they're not careful, the Isles are more than capable of tying it up.

You joke, but he's going to get a big raise this summer - whether with the Canucks or elsewhere. Did you see him rush the puck on the second unit? I don't get why people (not saying you, but just generally) question Rome's ability so much... he's pretty damn good!

Makes safe plays, can carry the puck, has a pretty good breakout pass, has pretty good vision (has sent several forwards in on breakaways with great passes), is a vicious hitter... sure he gets beat one-on-one sometimes against the better opposing forwards, and can get lost on defence occasionally, but so do a lot of players.

I wasn't joking.

The Canucks aren't going to pay a ton for Rome so he needs to stay nice and quiet.
