so far COHO is the best on the ice. I hope they give him someone who wants to score soon.

You've gotta laugh at how a dirty, injury-causing cheapshot to one of the best players in the world is punished with the same penalty that Burrows gets for backing slowly into a flopping Mason on the white ice.

 @ the NHL.

Let's just turn the other cheek. By sending Carter to the quiet room.

Edit: Ballard is making way better decisions offensively with the puck so far this season. I don't see him getting benched for Rome too many times this campaign.

Ballard is impressing the shit outta me. I hope he keeps it up because right now, he's our best offensive defensemen.

Bieksa goes out of his way to throw a hit and we get scored on.

I guess the Jackets could wait to see the replay on TV from their couch. I assume that everyone here knows that players do not have the luxury of replays 2 seconds after something happens. Your goalie is down you react. Your star player is down, you react. Well, 29 teams do.

Are we a team of pussies?

*sigh*

Fuck...

I know we aren't but the TV says we are.

All this struggle to find some 4th line players that can "play"... looks like they should have kept Duco or even Fedoruk. I can't believe they are going to allow Methot to just skate around la-di-da after injuring the star captain.

Hey Gillis, have you heard of Shane Doan? Brendan Morrow? Ryan Malone? Ryan Clowe? Look into it.

Actually, based on what I've seen so far, it won't be too long before Sturm is on waivers.

I hope we put a bounty on Methot's head after the game.

BTW, I've often wondered how to spell di'int. Thanks! I am going to use a lot now.

If nothing happens in this period, I am going to assume that is the coaches doing.

No problem.

To be fair, if we attacked the nearest opposing player every time Luongo was flopped down in the crease feigning injury, we'd have a lot of unnecessary PPs to kill. Or I should say even more unnecessary PPs to kill.

I'm not sure what the scouts see in Weise. How is old horseface better than Oreo?

At this point I am way more concerned about someone eventually sending a message to Methot than the actual two points.

I'd rather a message be sent and lose this game than win it and nothing be done about that hit.

But Maclean may be right... it's probably too late at this point.
