R4G3 - Canucks @ Bruins - Monday - 7pm
Will the timely goals continue to come? So far we're looking good and could be a little better - but Boston will have to give everything they've got tonight. I'm thinking we might see parallels to the San Jose series, with Game 3 the most likely to go to the opposition.
But then, Boston's not looking too good these days.

I'm happy w/ a split, would love for our 1st Cup to be won on home ice!

Nobody I know of called it 4 straight. I think we all expect Boston to win at least one.
I too would like to see a home ice Cup win.

I don't think you're alone on that. I'd rather see us lose game 4 though - but in the end it's bad for us to taunt the hockey gods who have gotten us this far. We'll be ecstatic with anything from a sweep (away from home) to a triple overtime nail-biter in game 7.nucklehead_88 wrote:im allllllmost rooting for boston to win one.... im sorry but id rather see it happen at home than a sweep

I'd rather game 3 to be honest, if we go up 3-0, I dont think Boston could send it back to Vancouver.

You selfish pricks, you'd rather tempt fate than let me enjoy game 4 in Boston with a sweep...bastards! All you lot!

If the Canucks with the Cup, the game could be on the moon for all I care. I can see wanting to be at the clinching game if you've got tickets, but I'd never complain over winning four straight.nucklehead_88 wrote:im allllllmost rooting for boston to win one.... im sorry but id rather see it happen at home than a sweep
All of this talk reminds me of the chatter when it was 3-0 against the 'Hawks - "will the rest be bad for the Canucks?", "maybe it would be better to lose one?"
If you're the 1960 Canadiens or 1983 Islanders, maybe you worry about whether you're winning on home ice or not (even then, I say no). Beggars can't be choosers.

OK .. guess it needs to be said: WE WERE LUCKY TO WIN BOTH GAMES ! course we outshot the Bruins by a wide margin .. 67 to 66 Games were pretty even really. 2 timely goals difference.. and great goaltending by Lou.
I expect a rough tough game tonight and we may win it with special teams .. Sedins do not look that great against the Bruins 5 on 5.. Predicting a win for Boston if the ref's put the whistles away..
am not yet planning the parade..

I'm sorry that look in Horton's eyes is creepy enough to just want that out of the game entirely. Christ. I'm not sure about the role of open-ice hitting in today's game.

All this late bullshit is irritating, it's the impact that's scary. Maybe it was late, sure it was interference, but the hit straight up, especially at full speed, that's a car crash.

... hitting can cost you. Let's hope they can kill this off.
