Yes! I was a bit younger in '82 and 94' - this one could kill me!!

Maybe the flukiest goal in Canucks history.. Thank you Hockey Gods !! ( honorable mention Bieksa ) ..WOW Stanley Cup finals coming up !! Got a bet on early in the season.. it would be Boston/Canucks.. Great game by Luongo .. guts by Kesler. skill by the Twins and a huge assist this game by the Hockey Gods !!

Wow the hockey gods were with us tonight. I hate to be a little bit of a downer, but imagine being on the other end of that goal? In a sense it kind of reminded me of the Anaheim series from 2007.

After the puck hit the stanchion, could it have hit Hank in the head? On the replay you see Hank adjusting his helmet a little confusingly.

Wow the f'n finals. I am believing, omg Loungo! Haven't seen that type of performance from you for a very very long time. I don't care who we take on, we'll beat them if we keep playing like this.

My daughter said to me after the game last night, (she was at Rogers Arena) "I get why 94 was so special to you Mum. I have this team to understand it now."

On Water Street, I broke down in tears when Bieksa's goal went through. It was either from all the tension throughout OT or just a relief and jubilation of going to the finals for the first time in 17 years.

I was a 19 year old girl in 1994. The Canucks made me believe and I own a Grey Cup ring. It was a good year for me.

This time around, it's a little more special. I get to share this with my family and we're going on the road with the boys. I'm so excited for all of us long suffering Canucks fans. I believe, this time, is our time.

So, do the assists on Bieksa's goal go to Edler and Glass?

I don't think the city cares much today, but it's Edler and Burrows. :)

Then he must have an assist.
Just reviewed the replay, it looks like because of his hand on the helmet right in the moment when the puck was behind him but i don't think Henrik got hit. He would be turning and not skating towards the goal.

I thought the same thing, but at the same time, maybe he wasn't thinking it was the puck and just kept focus. Part of me hopes the puck did him just to add a little comedy to it.

By the way, I love the "Glass" comment.

Yes, it was nice to see the hockey gods deliver that gift to Bieksa - even if he didn't get the greatest shot away.

I'm also impressed with how we got this far:

Round 1 - we beat our nemesis and defending Cup champs
Round 2 - we battle with a tough defensive team
Round 3 - we beat a big, powerful team that had a lot to prove.

We were able to adapt to different styles and prevail.
