On the bright side, our rookies are getting some ice time.

All I can say is, "Thank god we have a lead on the division right now!"

It looks like it's going to be a tough stretch until we get a couple of our injured players back.
Gotta keep out of the box and capitalize on our PP chances to have a hope tonight.
We have to be more physical than last night too.
Schneider is in goal tonight. Starting our 12th Dman of the season (Sauve).

Is there a record for the most Dmen used in a single season?
How about most Dmen used in a season, where none of them were acquired by trade during the season??
If there is a record for either, 12 has to be getting close.
The Cup is soooooo ours!!!!!!!

A much needed win tonight in Minny.

This has been a hard season on the blue liners, but it could be a sign of a healthy, well-rested and rehabbed line up.

A bit of an ugly win tonight. Outshot by more than 2-1. Outplayed much of the game.
Schneider looked really solid after the one bad goal. Defence held up pretty well all things considered. Forwards did a good job defensively to help out in the 3rd.
Malholtra and his line were very good. Sure is nice to see Samuelsson on a tear.
All in all they did what they had to to win this one.

Up next, another hungry team battling for a playoff spot in the Predators.

The better goalie won !! The better team lost.. nice to see scoring from the third line . 2 pts .. but Canucks definitely out played.

This is great experience, IMO, of finding ways to win when conditions are not ideal. This regular season - for this team - needs to be used to learn how to battle, how to play through injuries and find ways to win. It's all about building for the playoffs. When has a Canucks team ever had this luxury? They need to use it to it's full advantage.
