Just if GMMG has something big in his plans, but i don't think so.
There are just 2 choices, a) he has an injury to be hidden or b) he wants to get rid of his boyfriend he met in Ottawa's famous girlcamp.
i still believe they'll win the 3rd....

Pretty unimpressive thus far. Looks like the Bruins have been on a permanent power play!

Awesome to see Demitra notch his first. Man, Raymond is quite a player. I really thought if anyone was going to tie this game it would be him. Nice to see the team playing better this period but wish the Sedins would get in on the action. They have been awful the last 2 games. I just hope we can push it to OT because we've given up WAY too many chances.

Oh yeah, Demitra is on this team. Hopefully this gets him going.

PHEW! Anything from this point is gravy. Would be absolute robbery if they take this one but it's all even now so let's hope the boys can capitalize!

Shooters?
Raymond, Kesler, Wellwood is my guess.

There we go. This makes up for one of those occasional 8-0 thrashings. Two points stolen and a big game by Luongo.

It could be argued that we should never have been in a position to have to "steal" these 2 points.
Boston, in 11th place with 15 pts less than the Canucks, in the depths of a long losing streak, are hardly a team that we should have trouble with.
It's the old consistancy problem rearing its ugly head again.
That said, we did win the game and Luongo was lights out for most of the game.

Only if you think we're a great team that doesn't have chinks in the armor. I don't, so we're not working under the same premise. This is a good team, and good teams go through good patches and rough patches. Frankly, at this point, we have a pretty good idea of what kind of team this is, and that lingering inconsistency you keep bringing up is just nature's way of telling you your team isn't in the running for the Stanley Cup.It could be argued that we should never have been in a position to have to "steal" these 2 points.
Re: GDT: Canucks @ Boston - Damned Early - Spet
Well the good news in this well played tie game is first - Raymond; he continues to imorove his what we now know his great scoring abilities. Wow what a play, he put himself in a great shooting position and most would have taken it only to hit the pads or the crest. Mason had the wearforall to do more and put it in.
Second, we won the second period!! That is a first for this year I believe and cheers to that.
Loungo - recognizing and admitting he needed a break then played lights out most of the game.
