GDT: Canucks in Coloarado - 6PM -PPV | 3/27

Are we back to the "Good game > Bad game" sequence again? If so, then tonight should be a huge win for us. Chicago and Calgary are giving us every chance to catch them, but we need to win a few games to make it happen. Tonight is one of those games.

The once mighty Avs are now out of a playoff race - isn't that sad? Colorado is not a hot team. They're 3-6-1 in their last 10 and their special teams are truly 'special'. Goaltending is also sub-par to say the least. Of course, they are also heavy on the IR list.

This year we are 4-4-1 on back to back nights, so we should have a chance. Forgetting the PPV curse for a moment, there is no reason to lose this game (even though we've lost the last four in Denver). We need to make a statement as we play the AVs twice again after tonight.

Edit: LaBarbara is starting.

Is this Luongo's last night off? Might not be a good idea.

Hey, the Blues always give us fits, as do the Avalanche, but they seem to be in the pit right now and we have to take 'em out.

Apparently it was a good idea...

This was far from the gut check that people were anticipating. Pretty feeble opposition tonight.

The gutcheck will be on Sunday against the Hawks.

Still, a nice win tonight - especially for LaBarbara. It's Lou from here on in!
