GDT: Canucks host Minny - 7pm - Snet | 3/3
Wow - another important game in the race to make the playoffs. Minnesota's out of it right now, so they should be hungry tonight. Hopefully the good guys can put up a solid game tonight and sink them further down the standings.
The Wild are hurting - Nolan might be back in tonight, Gaborik's out (surprise), and Boogaard is serving a suspension. That might give enough edge to put them away early.
I guess the big question right now is : Can this team continue their current momentum in the playoffs?

Two big games in a row and hopefully we can put Minny behind us tonight with a big regulation win. Mats should be aching to break out, so hopefully he gets it going tonight.

Nucks dominating in the second but 2-1 wild. Not a bad game as far as Canuck-wild games go.

The Sedins and Alex control in Minny's end for 1:40...and can't put it in.
Then Demitra and Bernier score 28 seconds apart to lead 3-2 before the 2nd is over.
Great effort to make up for a subpar 1st period.

Sorry Dork. Not trying to upstage you. Just expanding/updating what you and Cornuck said for those that may be not watching/listening.

4-2, great comeback. Wild looked on their heels for second and third.
Impressive.

Agreed. The Wild really looked like the Mild in the last 2 periods. The Canucks really put it to 'em.dr.dork wrote:

Good comeback win..
all that being said, I would like for the Canucks to lead and keep leading throughout the game.
It's that time of year, the pre-playoff stretch is going to be some of the best hockey we're going to see before the cup run.
