Mattola said it all. Given the results of earlier today, this period could dictate the Canucks future for this year.
Luckily for the Canucks, the face of Stephane Robidas is of little concern to the team and they've gone one up.
That snowball finally stopped building in the most unlikely of circumstances, but all good teams "find" ways to win... the Canucks may not be a great team, but it's nice to see some luck go their way, rather than against them.

What a warrior shift for Mitchell. A shot hits him in the face, yet he keeps going and eventually clears the puck on the play after another blocked shot.
Unfortunately that's followed by a pretty lame call on Morrison, which was definitely embelished by Turco. Good to see that they took Turco off as well.
