GDT - 3/13/08 Canucks @ Coyotes 7pm SN/1040

Beating LA in the last 2 minutes is one thing, losing to the Ducks is another, but not being able to beat the coyotes and being thoroughly outchanced is the nail in the coffin.Cookie La Rue wrote:Expect the unexpected.... or just toss a coin.UpYerKilt wrote:Dallas next.... ?
But this team is completely unpredictable. Normally when you write them off, they return with a gem. Logically speaking, it should be a slaughter in Dallas. But we will see what these cur dogs can pull off.
It will be interesting. I f these Sedins, Pyatt and Naslund don't ever break out of this funk, the offseason will be interesting.

The real frustrating thing is that there are these extremes within just a week.
I still remember last thursday and saturday very well.
They're depending too much on the opponent i guess, Nashville and St. Louis were pretty weak in these games and i don't know why.
Because the Canucks forced them to be or they took just advantage of tired non-shows ? I guess the truth is somewhere in between.
Same with the Sedins, they were really buzzing in these games, smooth passing, creating chances and i thought they could be real superstars if they're playing nearly every game like that. But way too inconstant...

Matty has it right, thank god Nashville sucks worse than we do.Cookie La Rue wrote:The real frustrating thing is that there are these extremes within just a week.
The probability of a first round victory assuming we make the playoffs seems pretty remote at this point. But his team is unpredicable, which is perhaps their only compelling quality.

that turn over that led to the 2-0 goal just threw me for a loop. he was so nonchalant coming out of his zone and almost lost it once in his zone then not to move it up. it was a light light tap to his stick so it shows he wasnt even strong on the puck to lose it. then rather than backchecking as hard as he could he complains to the ref and gives up more position and then BOOM.
they are playing like they did when they first arrive in North America.
get it going boys
