Alright raise your hand if coming into this season you thought that the Canucks could sweep the season series with the Ducks. No one? That's what I thought.
Another huge 2 points on the line. Ducks will either be tired having played in Phoenix last night or pissed off having blow a late 2-1 lead. Either way the boys will have their hands full.
I predict that Jyrki's Regression to the Hockey Mean Theoryâ„¢ will once again rear its fat, ugly head and the real Anaheim Ducks will finally show up and beat the Canucks 4-1. Selanne, Beauchemin, Weight and Pahlsson, with Isbister replying for Vancouver.
It'll be good to see a Mitchell/Bertuzzi duel once again.
Two streaks on the line tonight, our possible season sweep (knock on wood) and the Ducks 8-game home winning streak. I'm wondering if we'll get to see Giguere or if he'll be sitting out after playing last night, even though Phoenix isn't exactly a taxing road trip. No Perry either, so Luongo's crease should be a little safer tonight...

They still have Getzlaf and Bertuzzi. Of course, these days, Bert is more of a perimeter player but perhaps we'll see him set up in front of Luongo and duel with Mitchell.
Maybe seeing Bertuzzi on the ice will wake up Naslund's scoring?
Series sweep in the balance
Duck's record for consectutive home wins in the balance
Canucks playoff hopes in the balance.
From NHL.com: "The Ducks look to get things turned around at Honda Center, where they have won 14 of their last 16." - yes, let's hope they DO turn things around
Another night sitting in front of the computer listening to 1040!
