GDT - 2/27/08 Canucks vs AVS 7PM TSN HD Team 1040
well here are you er "new" look Vancouver Canucks
no Forsberg tonight but Foote will be in the lineup..
First game without Matt Cooke on the roster and I believe Pettinger made it here so he should be.
Cowan has a suspension so look for Trevor to get back in the lineup.
Lou to start
Theodore to start (as per TSN)
Avs come off a OTW last night (of course against a Div rival)
we owe then a ass whopping. I hope that is fresh in the Canucks minds.
HUGE 4 POINT GAME TONIGHT
GO CANUCKS GO

Matt Pettinger will be putting on #25 to join Kris Beech, Josh Green and Mats Lindgren, Stojanov, Sandlak, and other Canucks superstars to wear #25.
good luck Matty

oh boy, 25 hasn't been a great number for 'nucks, although i guess stojanov brought us naslund...
at least we have burrows now that the cheery grins of cooke, and before him, ruutu, are gone.
the matt is gone! long live the matt!
3-1 'nucks who are feeling vindicated after the deadline, and bobby lou continues to just dominate, but there's one that is deflected four times before going in and ultimately credited to foppa in absentia. pyatt is due, ohlund for the D, and burrows reply.

I'm with you in solidarity, L_i_G... will be doing the same!Linden Is God wrote:Another game that will be viewed in the east. Looks like I'm staying up late tonight. With revenge on their minds combined with a late game in Calgary, I say Canucks win 4-3. Salo, Edler, Kesler and Naslund.
And Mattola, while yours may be the first post directly from a game, I claim credit for the first ever Blackberry posting on this site (to my knowledge) from last years playoffs, when I watched Game 6 from an Italian bar in Roberto Luongo's hometown of St-Léonard!

Congratulations Darwin Head!!
Heh, you could see he was getting distracted by Randorf announcing how well he was doing... once Randorf started getting excited ("three... four... FIVE!!") Darwin started missing. Kudos to him, he regained his composure and finished it off in style. His friends must be pretty stoked to get hybrid cars out of this, not having done very much...!
Back to the game: that Kesler-Burrows chance was a beaut. They've developed real chemistry. However, I hate it when the Canucks get chances and then come scoreless out of the first period. It always is a bad omen.
