Nice to have some hockey back.

The boys need a win here. With Luongo out, has a back up been called up?

LIVE FROM THE PRESS BOX: WHERE IS THE LOOOOOP?

Postby B. Mackin » Tue Jan 29, 2008 8:39 pm

During a TV time out, the Canucks organization remembered late Canuck Gary Lupul on the Daktronics' board. The small number seven with the big heart died last summer. Even sadder than his passing was that not a single fan offered the familiar Pacific Coliseum "Loooop!" chant in tribute.
Where is appreciation for Canucks' history GM Place attendees?

hit or be hit

Postby UpYerKilt » Tue Jan 29, 2008 9:05 pm

Why does it seem this team gets out hit at home? Every team comes in to this building and pushes the Canucks around. The hitters on the team are the 5-10 mins a game players. We need top 2 forwards banging like the Flames and Ducks.

LIVE FROM THE PRESS BOX: EXIT SANDMAN

Postby B. Mackin » Tue Jan 29, 2008 9:18 pm

Drew MacIntyre gets the desperation tap on the shoulder from Vigneault to replace a shell-shocked Curtis Sanford on a fight-filled night at Goons and Muggers Place. The latest fisticuff featured Nathan McIver. Like MacIntyre, he's from the bright red mud of Prince Edward Island.

The Canucks need an estimated 20 wins in the next 32 games to get into the playoffs. Tonight appears to be a write-off.

A team with a goalie beats a team without a goalie....geeez Turco has been lucky....Sanford has some big holes...Modanos goal hit the center of the net ! Awful....
