Canucks have turned the tables on the Ducks, outshooting them 12-3 in the second and scoring on three of those shots. Perhaps the Canucks' most dominant, foreceful period of the season.
Duck Chris Pronger made history, earning the rage of Vancouver fans who have justifiably booed him for perhaps the first time after his unpenalized cross-check of Ryan Kesler after the game's second goal. Apparently referee Dan O'Halloran feared a citation from the Vancouver fire marshal for too many men in the penalty box (Sean O'Donnell and Ryan Getzlaf were already there).
Pronger has previously been booed by Canucks' fans who find themselves in a strange allegiance with Edmontonians jilted when Pronger demanded a trade after the 2005 Stanley Cup loss.
