Still too skinny to fit all those letters on the namebar of his jersey.

If we lose our last game vs Jets, we can't win the Western Conference and therefore avoid both VGK or Kings in Round 1?

Ok Megs, take a dive.

Dallas should claim their fate tomorrow, so we can rest some players.

Yep. Draft a Mukamudellin instead trading for a JT Miller. Do it Megs.

One of the things I find amazing is that this season has been one of the most successful regular seasons in franchise history. And yet they have done it almost quietly. Sure there were no expectations at the start of the year except to make the playoffs. They have been remarkably consistent and yet we all see significant areas where they can improve, like special teams.

They started the season being fun, exciting and high scoring but ended being a hard to play against defensive juggernaut. Boring in some ways, who doesn’t like high scoring games besides the coach? So it seems like a quiet ride to the top.

Or maybe it was me not wanting to get my hopes up?

Yeah. Woulda been great. But still, in reality Demko has only surrendered one goal in over a month. :P

I think the bigger news other than clinching the division was how Demko looked like he had never left. Solid game, and ready for the playoffs.

A few comments;

That is how you play against a dismal team, and was there any better display of how dismal the Flames are that the CoHog goal. What a dumpster fire of defense.

Nazim, Hubbie, and Kuz .... the foundation to build around. LOL

Hughes damn well better fish that puck off the goal line considering it was his weak turnover that let Calgary maintain possession in the Vancouver end to generate that chance.

High blocker on Markstrom. LOL

Demko's conservation of movement is remarkable to watch.

I would have given unsung hero to Brock or Meyers. Those two have quietly turned their careers around.

Kuz is playing with his stick on the ice nearly all the time, but still no backcheck.

The Flames are awful.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Agreed with all of these points. Keep your head down and keep posting Prospector

Where’s Ohdee to rip a poster a new asshole?

They managed the game. Wasn’t a totally great effort and had a few lapses but 50 wins is not a fluke.

I like Tocchet’s idea of a top 9. Lindholm is the best 3rd line centre in the league. Tedy on the 4th line is a luxury. The D is 8 deep because Elliote’s son and Noah can play. I just wish they’d have picked up a guy like Duhaime. A missile up front would help out big time. Think Raffi in 2011. I’m disappointed that Allvin couldn’t figure that one out especially considering they worked with Bill Guerin.

Fuck the Jets game. Give Demko the start and get the scrubs in.
