An afternoon game. I'm quite certain we're screwed.
But we gotta flip this shit on its head.
14-0 Vancouver. Holtby with the goose egg. Petey with a 5 pointer. Bo with the triple. Hughes with 4 helpers. Toffoli with a pair of own goals credited to Beagle.
It'll look like a dog's breakfast out there, but a win is a win.
I was going to say I hope he puts some fresh blood in up front instead he rolls out the carcass of The Air Thief. At least change the fucking lines. Get Petterson away from the top D pairing and checkers.
Miller Horvat Boeser
Pearson Petterson Hoglander
Eriksson Gaudette Virtanen
Roussel Beagle Sutter
How did Nolan Bumgartner qualify as a defensive coach i wonder...? Was he some prodigious junior or something? I remember a middling average at best jordy benn type and it seems thats the game the canucks defense are playing...
J.T. Miller -- Elias Pettersson -- Brock Boeser
Tanner Pearson -- Bo Horvat -- Nils Hoglander
Antoine Roussel -- Adam Gaudette -- Jake Virtanen
Tyler Motte -- Jay Beagle -- Brandon Sutter
Tomas Tatar -- Phillip Danault -- Brendan Gallagher
Jonathan Drouin -- Nick Suzuki -- Josh Anderson
Corey Perry -- Jesperi Kotkaniemi -- Tyler Toffoli
Artturi Lehkonen -- Jake Evans -- Paul Byron
Ben Chiarot -- Shea Weber
Joel Edmundson -- Jeff Petry
Brett Kulak -- Alexander Romanov
Carey Price
Jake Allen
Scratched: Victor Mete
Injured: Joel Armia (concussion)
Status report
Perry could make his Canadiens debut after skating in Armia's spot in practice Friday and being promoted from the taxi squad Saturday. Byron didn't practice Friday and is a game-time decision after the forward was hit in the foot by a slap shot by Weber and leaving the game during Montreal's 7-3 win against Vancouver on Thursday. If Byron can't play, Mete could dress as a seventh defenseman. … The Canucks haven't updated the status of defensemen Edler, who missed the game Thursday, or Chatfield, who was injured in the game Thursday. Benn could make his season debut after being out because of COVID-19 protocol until he practiced Wednesday.

He's OK for a trainer but not a coach who Green has stated takes care of how the defense plays and what style for each team. You can see him talking to them all the time during games while Travis is watching the video clock at replays.

The should try to get Bieksa as their defensive coach no matter who the head coach is. Clear communicator who will superman punch your head in if you give him any crap.
But he probably wouldn’t be interested as I imagine he is seeing where this media career takes him at this point.
