The first line is a tire fire defensively

I'm really liking MacEwan's game. Round and tumble, likes to play the body, unafraid of the corners or crease.

THAT is the way we should be playing these weaker teams. Nice to see us hang on to a lead as well

"Yeah, we had him in after our meetings just so we could all personally congratulate him. I wanted our players to see him up close and personal and talk to him... about his journey. I thought it was important. Burr's meant a lot to our organization. I thought it was a great ceremony. Doesn't surprise me that the words were touching, not only Burr's speech but Hank and Danny's, and everything that he exemplifies, really. What you want in a Canuck... He has it all." - Green on Burrows
"That was awesome. I couldn't help but smile on the bench when he scored. It's a long haul for guys when they come back from injuries like that. Just to see him play, we were happy, and to see him score like that? You couldn't script it any better." - Green on Roussel's goal
"Edler will be re-evaluated in two weeks." - Green on Edler

I think they will stick for a while and as long as Gaudette can stay at a decent face-off percentage and Jake can stay focussed, it could be that long sought third after third scoring line. Not that the first two are scoring enough lately.Hockey Widow wrote: ↑Tue Dec 03, 2019 8:32 pm That, on paper, should be a good line, Roussel, Gaudette, Virtanen. I’d like to see them stick for a few games.
I listened to Green's explanation for the second period let-down and the way he puts it you almost want to buy it but, Na!
Nice first period. After that, not a team that can contend for anything yet. FOCUS...
I wish there was a separate video clip of that one remarkable glove save Demko made. Excellent.

WHAT!! Micky was hoping Demko had a severe hangover, ate some bad shrimp, or sired a bastard child??Per wrote: ↑Tue Dec 03, 2019 9:22 pmDoesn’t necessarily take an injury; could be a severe hangover, some bad shrimp, the birth of his firstborn or just getting some rest in a back-to-back.![]()

SUCH an evil monster!

(a back-to-back wasn't happening since Markstrom will be back for the next game)
JK Mick, this was all just part of a science experiment, thank you for donating your brain to Science.

I hit FF through the dog and pony show. Did he cry? Did he bite anyone or yank on their hair?
