Checking in late again but not too bad. Horvat choice was Mike Gillis which should remind us every dog has its day. Go Nucks!!!
BerryMan listen, Gillis was a goof. Remember, we had to cough up the games best young goalie at the time to get him, a major asset. Nonis prize first round pick - Schneider. Gillis drafted Shinkaruk with the Canucks first round pick that draft.
DOYLE WOULD’VE RATHER HAD KEVIN HAYES AT 7 YEARS 7 MILLION PER INSTEAD OF J.T. MILLER FOR A LATE 1ST RD PICK

Gaud might be snake -bitten but his smart play is quite noticeable almost every time he is on the ice. Lots of hustle and good positioning.

Canucks ass kicked LA 8-2.
EP had 1 goal
Miller had 4 points
QH scored his first
Scores? Points? Goals? Bahh who cares - Let's talk about the important stuff. Like Gillis!!!
Next thing you know, someone will start claiming that even Tanev can score goals....

Canucks are one of three teams with 100% on the PK.
Maybe those 3rd/4th line choices out of camp weren't so bad after all.
LOL, I was just whipping up a scathing retort about JT "Overpayment" Miller and our shitty bottom 6. Those local hockey bloggers and our wonderful media will probably have nothing to say about Benning and Green for a few days.
As an aside, the 4th line whipping boys (birdbones, snoopy and dr. schaller) were the only ones even or pluses after the first 2 games. That's pretty good when you don't have last change and get matched up against top lines like McJesus' and Monahan's.
Special teams are what's going to get this team near the wildcard.
