I like seeing the kids get points and if that translates into 1-2 points in the standings all the better. They are learning how to win, never quit. It may not translate into a playoff spot this year, certainly not into a winning playoffs, but it’s learning to win.

Glad for Gaudette, 2 points. And he got some OT time.

A win is a win.

Two points for Petey and Gaud.
And Marx is a man transformed.

He has been stealing games for us since December.

A Swedish kid and a couple of College boys get it done. LOL
I wasn't far off with Stecher and Hutton's ice time---over 30 minutes each.

Stecher played over 31 min last night after he played over 29 the night before. Shockingly the haters have been quiet lately. Easily the teams most improved player this year. Maybe he and Benny are developing into actual legit top 4 d men.

Petterson was incredible again. Love seeing him get angry

Ya mun. He has dramatically improved for sure.

My second nominee is Tyler Motte. He never floats, never quits on pucks, finishes checks on way bigger guys with authority. Perfect energy guy for the 4th line wing

I was not bullish on Motte to start the year. He is a darn good 4th line guy. There’s no quit in him at all.

That would be great. His contract does become modified in July so it's not impossible.

lil' trojan was again an embarrassment, I literally laughed out loud at his attempts to check Getzlaf the previous game and it was the same against the Kings bigger stronger forwards. He was treated like a gnat, he can not win a puck battle on the boards. The idiotic pinches and offensive zone forays still exist....but when Biega and Pouliot are your comparables, he must look Norris worthy. I think folks are confused because with Edler out, the lil trojan has been getting #1 unit pp time in the static - dish to brock, dish to elias, dish to brock, dish to elias. shoot. There is nothing to his shot and it is either wide or on the logo. He's useless as usual.

Markstrom is easily the most improved player on the team.

Pettersson is learning that defenders are terrified of him. If he has the sllghtest gap between him and a defender they will hesitate to watch for his next move, he's learning to use that time. JOHNNY_HOCKEY does it all the time to defenders and uses it to get an extra fake in forcing the miss.

Does Brockey_Hockey have any skill other than his shot?
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

We got him 23rd overall. The fact that we picked up a guy that low in the first round who has the potential to notch 40 goals a year for us, yeah, I'd say that even IF that's all he's got we should be thrilled.
