Actually, it was asshole Jake with the crosscheck on Nielsen that led to the goal.

But yeah, Stetcher always needs a forward to bail him out of his bad pinches. It wouldn't be an issue if he actually generated any kind of offense.

And putting Troy with Edler doesn't mean he's better, it means Green wouldn't be able to play a Stetcher/Pouliot pairing at all. It also makes sense because he is supposed to have more offensive upside than Gudbranson... but he really doesn't.

He still kept the correct 4 d men playing on the top two pairs. Great pinch by Stecher in the winning goal
You are funny. The goal was the hard work of Roussel and his crosscheck on Neilson. Virtanen had to back Stecher up and fired the puck on net. If you give credit to Stecher for doing nothing, you should also give credit to Gudbranson on the first goal. He punched and Boeser fired the puck for Pettersson to tip.

Seriously, even you admitted that Gudbranson is at least 25% better than Stecher. Why do you hate Gudbranson so much? Is it because his look, his height, or his money?
I don’t hate him, seems like a decent guy. Just a shitty player and the deal makes zero sense in himdsight

The truth is Stecher needs someone to babysit him but not Gudbranson.

Topper is right about Troy, he stinks
Of course I am right.

If Stecher gets $2.1m, you seriously think Gudbranson will only get $1m? Edler now has to babysit Stecher again in the third.
Stecher is a 800 k player
He's being paid $2,35million. $2.35 million more than he is worth.

And now with the season on the line, Stecher is paying ahead of Gudbranson the last few games. He played six minutes more today. Gudbranson has averaged about 15 minutes the last three games. Hutton is probably the happiest guy on the team

Lol cool. That’s cute. How do you explain the coach hacking 44’s icetime to 14 min?

Maybe the fact that Green just wanted to play Edler and Tanev, not really Stecher and Hutton? Don't forget Gudbranson needs to babysit Pouliot too. Maybe Pouliot is the one that Green did not want to play in the final minutes? If Green trusts Stecher as much as you think, why did Stecher hardly kill any penalties? Gudbranson, on the other hand, kills every single penalty?

20 minutes to 14 minutes. It’s a pretty substantial difference Chief.
