Gotta love the battle in this team all season - credit Green.
Looking forward to the flushing of Poo and Co.

Nolan got Edler to stop screening his goalie on point shots. Took 11 seasons for Edler to stop doing that, other coaches couldn't do it.
Communication between pairing and forwards/defence. Isn't that on the players? Don't they bear some responsibility?
Vigneault spent his first two seasons with the Canucks coaching Pat Burns trap. Luongo had an outstanding season Viggy's first year, then the next season it all caught up on them. Gillis got Vigneault out of coaching trap hockey. He learned and he was a veteran coach. Last season was TG's and ON's first in the NHL. Head coaches usually get 3 seasons to prove themselves, GMs 5-6 seasons. Not always fair, just the NHL standard.
Again, wait until February. Coaches are learning as well.

As Rob Ford once said, "I don't need to go out to eat. I've got all I can eat at home."
Or something like that.
p.s. Am I in deep shit too?

Bryan Allen isn't available?mr perfect wrote: ↑Fri Dec 14, 2018 11:28 am I will say this: Despite the fact he is now 36 years old, Dan Hamhuis can still play defence and I wonder if the Canucks had brought him back and ditched one of Del Zotto or Pouliot how much better they would be behind the blue line. He'd be the perfect partner for Gubransen whose best hockey was when he was partnered with Mitchell, then with Campbell. They wouldn't be the '76-'77 Montreal Canadiens defence but they might be mediocre to meh instead of poor.
