GDT: 24/11/18 Canucks @ Kings, 7pm, CBC, SN, SN360, SN1, CITY, FS-W

Post by SKYO »

Alex Edler is back! Reid Boucher earns a NHL start.

-- Some notes from canucksdotcom --
-Loui Eriksson leads Canucks skaters in career points against the Kings with 31 (13-18-31) in 48 games. (Eriksson the Kings killa)

-Alex Edler has registered 20 points (4-16-20) in 38 NHL game versus Los Angeles

LAST MEETING - MAR. 12/18: VAN 0 at LA 3

-Anders Nilsson made 30 saves...Tyler Motte had a career-high 6 hits...Michael Del Zotto had a game-high 4 blocked shots...Bo Horvat registered a team-high 5 shots.

-last game vs sharks - Erik Gudbranson led the team in hits (5)...Chris Tanev blocked four shots...Anders Nilsson faced 24 shots.

--
from sports interaction: they think the Kings got this, thanks the 8 game losing streak of the canucks.
The Vancouver Canucks extended their losing streak to eight games Friday in San Jose. Rather than just another loss, though, they also gave up three power play goals to the Sharks as well. Meanwhile, Los Angeles has been a train wreck all season and is now down to their third-string goalie tandem of Peter Budaj and Cal Peterson.
Canucks vs Kings Betting Analysis

No need to rub your eyes, Los Angeles is favoured in this game -175 on the money. Despite sitting dead last in the entire NHL standings, the Kings are favoured for the first time in a long time. An eight game losing drought will do that to a team and the Canucks have had an ugly month to say the least.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

Courtesy of somewhere...

OK, all signs point to Alex Edler getting back into the lineup tonight. It’s been a long road but the return is upon us. Reid Boucher wasn’t able to get into the lineup last night due to travel so he’ll most likely be in today. Tim Schaller or Tyler Motte would be the guys to scratch… the obvious ones anyway.

Sven Baertschi is flying to Detroit to see a concussion specialist so his return won’t be anytime soon.

Jacob Markstrom will start tonight after Anders Nilsson played last night in San Jose. Markstrom will need to curb those soft, early goals if he’s going to give the Canucks a chance tonight.

Markstrom starts, Edler & Biega are in on defence, while Stecher is out and another TBD D-man will sit, said Coach Green.

Boucher is in, Archibald has been placed on waivers.

Boys are getting Twitchy for a win.

Team's been stuck, so the Green diet is to get the Poo out? and the Eagle in.

Our No. 1 is now a Marky'd man, so his goals better be to Harden up, otherwise the shots from the outside won't be so Soft.

Even if you're being or provoked or Gags'd by the opposition, you shouldn't bite. It's a Fine line out there.

Hopefully, Gaud's goal is to First get a puck taped up.

Leipsic is great in the Fall. How does he Stand up in the Winter?

Waive good-bye to Archie. It's the Slow train back to Utica.

Let's stop streakin'! (Shot)gunning for a win tonight.
