That game-tying goal was so fast, I still haven't seen a good replay of it!

Steam was coming out of Horvat ears when the Avs scored with him in the box after that weak call. Then he just rifles that pass to Pettersson to tie it up. That pass happened so damn fast it was amazing. What a freakin goal. Great game! The kids are willing this team to success.

The refs let go almost everything the whole night and hence they call a weak penalty with slightly over a minute left. Why are the NHL having four refs when they are mostly blind? The headshots on Baertschi and Stecher, the cross-checks on Boeser and Pettersson. On the other hand, the refs call penalties against Roussel,l just because he is Roussel.

Calvert barely touched Petterson. He was jumping in the air and he gets knocked down pretty easily. But the stickwork on Boeser was cheap. No pushback physically from the so called tough players

Man, game reminded me of the WCE years. Scoring back and forth with lots of goals, little D and shaky goaltending. :P

Dang I missed a crazy game!

PETTERSSON SUPERSTAR!

BOESER UBERSTAR!

Goldy with a couple pts and Granlund scores again.

I gotta download this game from torrents, as I forgot to PVR it. *gasp*

Your goal scorers:

Boeser x 2
Pettersson x2
Granlund
Pouliot
Ericksson

The future is now.

I can't believe Markstrom let in 6 goals, and we still won!

The Eli/Brock combo aint goin anywhere no time soon, so;
Bo needs help. He's having to do so much with Sutter out. He's on and off the ice thousand, hundreds, so many times a night.
One day???????? Baer will return, but even so;
Put Jake with Bo! It will work, not to mention they're good friends, not that that should count for anything,(don't believe that, it does).
Is Manny still coaching face offs? Don't know if the style he used is even legal anymore.

Lost in all of this:
Boeser with four points.

Yes, I like Pettersson with Boeser. Boeser plays a heavier game with Pettersson. I’m liking his game right now.

Yes, Green had Virtanen out with Bo at the end. That too could be a good combo.

I’m so pumped. I didn’t buy into the Pettersson hype but I’m a believer now.

Next year add Hughes on the backend. Demko perhaps. The future looking good.

Boeser on EP's pass on the second goal:
First my thought was, hopefully I get a f****** good bounce! Excuse my language. Second off, I've been passing more than normal so I just want to put pucks on net. Wish I coulda had that third one, but it's huge that we got the win.

Soooo, just for fun, I look at the standings, and lo and behold, we are second in the league! That’s right my fellow Canuck fans, second! Now, realistically I know this won’t last, but damn! I’m gonna enjoy it for the moment!
Wait, where are the vaunted leaves? Oh wait! In tenth place! Now, that probably won’t last either , but the relief from fish breath is just so.............refreshing..... :)
Enjoy my fellow Canuck fans.....

So, it seems Elias is beginning to adapt to the NHL rink size and style of play.

Just took a look at the hardware he earned last season:

SHL Best Junior (EliteProspects.com Award)
SHL Best Plus/Minus (+27)
SHL Champion
SHL Forward of the Year
SHL Most Goals by Junior (24)
SHL Most Points (56)
SHL Most Points by Junior (56)
SHL Most Valuable Player
SHL Playoffs MVP (Stefan Liv Memorial Trophy)
SHL Rookie of the Year
Swedish Forward of the Year
U20 WJC Silver Medal
World Championship Gold Medal

So basically the Swedish equivalents of Calder, Art Ross, Hart, Conn Smythe, the championship and a bunch more.

Any chance he can top that this year? :|

No kidding, the best of both.
Reality break : Check the records. Petterson is better than both Sedins combined in their rookie season .
