It is only the fourth preseason game though. Winning a few preseason games do not make any team a champion.

I didn’t say it did. Thing is in all four pre season games and for the last three years this back end has looked like garbage. Ironically the old guy they let go in 2016 would still be the third best defender on this club.

It’s a fucking fire drill out there tonight. Who is missing from the back end tonight that would make a difference? Gudbranson, Del Zotto and Hutton are all fringe guys. Hughes is at least a year away and Olaf doesn’t look ready yet. The only way to fix this is through a trade (not enough assets) or UFA.

Watching these preseason games, you see how shallow our right-side D depth really is.

Tanev, Gudbranson, Stetcher, Biega, Chatfield... Other than the Tan-man, it's pretty sad. There's no way you can move Tanev, not with Aqua's mandate of "Win Now For Luigi".

Trade for Myers, Jets can't afford to re-sign him with Laine and Trouba needing new contracts for next year.
