I don't care what some of you say, proven vets are good for the development of the young guys.

No Jokinen, Jussi has been really good.

Proven. Not $800K fourth liners or scrounging for more Megnas & Chaputs.

The future is looking brighter and brighter each day. I just cannot wait to see Pettersson, Dahlen, Lind, Juolevi and hopefully Dahlin.

Imagine if Canuck Luck didn't screw us over once again and we got the guy we really wanted... PLD.

Juolevi might still turn out to be a good one.

Vanek is good at scoring goals but he is lazy. Jokinen works hard every shift. It has a positive impact on young kids.

For sure, but it won't be good enough for some if he isn't the next Bobby Orr.

I still recall discussions of how Havlat & Comrie will be superstars for years instead of the sisters we got. Never heard from those peeps again.

Jokinen might not get as much points as Vanek but I would take him over Vanek any day.
