GDT / Poll: Canucks host Shark - 7pm St Pats Day

Post by Cornuck »

Now with added poll :D

There's not many reasons to keep watching this snowball roll downhill -but you have to wonder when we might score next.

So Jake is getting a better look and slowly showing signs of belonging. Is Leipsic a flash in the pan or someone to elevate past placeholder status?

But the real story is:

Brendan Gaunce
Status: IR
Gaunce (foot) "may play in the last few games of the season," according to coach Travis Green.

Loui Eriksson
Status: Out
Eriksson (ribs) is not listed on injured reserve, per the NHL media site.

Sven Baertschi
Status: Out
Baertschi (shoulder) is no longer listed on injured reserve, per the NHL's official media site.

Brock Boeser
Status: Out
Boeser (back) is no longer showing on injured reserve, per the NHL's official media site.

Erik Gudbranson
Status: IR
Gudbranson is set to undergo a shoulder operation that will end his 2017-18 campaign.

Chris Tanev
Status: IR
Tanev (undisclosed) remains unavailable for Wednesday's game against the Ducks.

Leipsic - Horvat - Virtanen
Sedin - Sedin - Gagner
Archibald - Sutter - Motte
Boucher - Dowd - Goldobin

Edler - Tanev
MDZ - Stecher
Pouliot - Biega

Markstrom

I love that everyone so far has voted for option one!

Bo line with 3 goals tonight (2 by Jake, 1 from Lipstick) and the wee nuckies win 4-3 (Archibald with the other).

Somewhere out there Ol Paddy is drinking plenty o green beer and emitting copious amounts of cabbage gas.

Yes, Hutton needs a starlight tour. Show him the sites.

Set to undergo ? How have the Canucks not ponied up to crash the line (i.e. entirely private system process, possibly in the U.S.) and have him done already ? Any shoulder surgery that I can imagine will have a long re-hab and recovery time (it will be worth remembering when evaluating his play upon his return that he will likely not be back up to full strength for another year after that), so if they want to get much use out of him for 2018-2019, it makes sense to get the surgery done ASAP.

Recovery time, anticipated, is 4-6 months. So they’ve said, before surgery. We will see the timeline once it’s done.

Hate to speculate (but I will), but they could be waiting for conditions (swelling, other injuries to heal, good Dr's are busy) to improve before putting him under.

so..
Buffalo won today

Hoping for an Arizona victory

What do we do?

At some point this team is going to rebound, and I have a feeling that it's going to rebound at the worst time

So we might as well win a game tonight

Money Phone scores another hat-trick, convincing Benning to trade for his rights so he can give him an $8x8 deal.

Nice to see Tanev back, but a part of me kind of wants to see him shut it down for the season and just focus for next season. Right now, what's the point?
