If he truly wants to be a top center, he better learn how to pass and make plays rather than try beating the whole team by himself.
Well now you know why Benning has said he would like a good play making centre. Bo is Bo and brings what he brings. But with all the skilled shooters we have in the system a strong play making centre will make the worl of difference.

BMo or Andrew Casells type.
The only HW the Canucks need

BMo was a playmaker?

I saw him as more a North/South guy who played the 200 foot game that Bert and Naz didn’t. Bert was the playmaker on that line.

Horvat reminds me more of a stronger and more defensively capable Morrison.

Pettersson is a playmaker.

Any win or loss is a win at this point. And I think losses are bigger wins. Especially to teams below us. Lol.

BMo wasn't the greatest playmaker or passer but his linemates never allowed him to be one because they were so needy with the puck.

His time here, he was more of a offensively-talented version of Steve Rucchin. The glue for the WCE.

I always felt like BMo was way marginalized and under appreciated by the fans. Without him playing his role, there wouldn't have been the success for the WCE.

In fact, history will show he was much more clutch when the game was on the line than either of his two wingers.

I think the Sedins are mentally checked out now, they seemed maxed out and the drive isn't there as it once was when the team was somewhat healthier.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

I concur.

During the lockout 2004/05 he played for Linköping in the SHL on a line with Kristian Huselius and Mike Knuble, and they were the best line in the league. Unfortunately there was some business with Huselius and some woman in a hotel room, and he left the country mid season to get away from the press, and finished the season in the Swiss league. All three still ended up pretty high in the points totals. I always fel that BMo was the main reason that line worked so well; no offense to Huselius and Knuble, but BMo was the glue. And just look at his +/-!

Rk No Name............... Team....... Pos GP G_ A_ TP PIM +/-
_1 20 Zetterberg, Henrik Timrå........ LW 50 19 31 50 24 +15
_2 22 Huselius, Kristian. LHC.......... RW 34 14 35 49 10 +20
_3 13 Weinhandl, Mattias MODO........ CE 50 26 20 46 18 +3
_4 10 Horcoff, Shawn..... Mora......... CE 50 19 27 46 117 -11
_5 _3 Ekman, Nils.......... Djurgården RW 44 18 27 45 106 +2
_6 19 Morrison, Brendan. LHC......... CE 45 16 28 44 50 +30
_7 24 Andersson, Niklas... Frölunda... LW 44 14 27 41 16 +22
_8 26 Knuble, Michael.... LHC......... LW 49 26 13 39 40 +24
_9 28 Plüss, Martin......... Frölunda... LW 46 23 16 39 42 +14
10 17 Nilson, Marcus....... Djurgården LW 48 17 22 39 110 +11

Weinhandl also had an outstanding season, but that was because Peter Forsberg was bouncing pucks off him into the crease until he got injured again...
