Nice to see Nielsson look like the Nielsson we had early on in the season again. When he's on, he looks like a Vezina goalie, when he's off, he looks like Cloutier in the playoffs. Like alot of our guys, he seems to be very streaky. I guess that's the difference between an average NHLer and a star player, the stars can maintain that high lvl of play for longer stretches and their slumps are quite a bit shorter.
Nice to see Guddy finally looking like the D-man we thought we're getting: a beast D-man who is tuff to play against and can play top pairing minutes. Not sure if it was just JB + Travis thinking they should give him a look there to see if they should resign him or just showcase him as trade bait, maybe both. Either way, smart move.
Went to the game last night...great game, great atmosphere. Way too many broon fans, some of whom were very salty after the game! Can we please stop pissing and moaning about Erickssons and Sutters contracts? Yes, they may not be scoring bunches of goals, but their work on the penalty kill was pretty damn amazing. Yes they need to bring it every day, blah, blah blah, but last night was great to watch!
By the way, sky train fees are stupid bad! Cost $17.00 to park the effin car for the evening! Then the cost of the sky train on top!

Sky train fees are on the low side, comparatively, to world class cities. And, we have much lower ridership than bigger to cities to off set the cost. We need more public transportation and higher incentives to get people out of cars. Like higher parking, higher gas prices etc. The more ridership we get the more incentive to build more rapid transit lines.
Ok, back to the game.
More ass, less gas, the naked bike riders chanted!!!
